About Blossom
Beyond Boundaries

Blossom Beyond Boundaries LLC was established in 2024 (LLC currently pending finalization) by pediatric occupational therapist, LeeAnn Bower. After experiencing personal challenges, LeeAnn decided that the best way for her to provide for her family and meet her own needs was to establish a company that would give her that flexibility. Her own personal experiences have also shaped the focus of Blossom Beyond Boundaries as a company driven to offer services and resources to nurture mental and physical health, wellness, and development across the lifespan with a primary focus on pediatrics. It is the intention of Blossom Beyond Boundaries to be all inclusive and provide opportunities for activities that promote development of age appropriate skills for children of all abilities and services are meant to be inclusive for individuals with and without special needs.

Blossom Beyond Boundaries is set to start with virtual group sessions to facilitate and encourage motor skill development and social skills. LeeAnn plans to eventually expand offerings to in-person groups and expand the variety of groups offered. Virtual occupational therapy evaluations and consultations will also be provided, as well as specialty consultations such as ergonomics, handwriting, keyboarding, and more. It is anticipated that these services will also be available in person in the near future. A blog will be included with resources, as well as an online store of items that are available for purchase consisting of worksheets, manipulatives, and more. The final piece will be a section encompassing on-demand education courses. Upon completion of her current training and certifications, LeeAnn plans to offer infant massage groups, tummy time play groups, yoga for kids, yoga for athletes, and much more!

About The Owner

LeeAnn Bower is the owner of Blossom Beyond Boundaries LLC and has been a practicing pediatric occupational therapist for 20 years. Starting her career as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/L) after graduating with her Associate of Science in Occupational Therapy degree from Penn State Berks, LeeAnn worked in school-based settings for several years, as well as outpatient pediatric rehab. During this time, she pursued a BS in Health Sciences and an MS in Occupational Therapy from Misericordia University in their weekend program. Since obtaining her OTR/L, LeeAnn’s pediatric background has been vast, having had the opportunity to gain experience in nearly every possible pediatric practice setting, including management of an outpatient pediatric rehab location.

LeeAnn is a Child Passenger Safety Technician with additional special needs training, qualifying her to educate parents and caregivers on safe car seat installation and use, as well as to help identify appropriate adaptive car seats for children in need. She is currently working on finishing her remaining certification requirements for being an infant massage instructor and is a Certified ADHD professional. LeeAnn is currently pursuing her yoga teacher certification and youth fitness performance training.

In 2018, LeeAnn transitioned to higher education as a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy and Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for the OTA Program at her alma mater, Penn State Berks. During this time, she continued to work per diem as a pediatric OT in an outpatient clinic and also provided virtual school-based occupational therapy. Due to personal health, LeeAnn left the higher education world and after much thought, decided to finally pursue her dream of owning her own practice to give her the flexibility that she and her family both need.

LeeAnn is the mother of 2 boys, one of whom is diagnosed with High Functioning Autism, ADHD, and Anxiety. Both boys are active in soccer, which keeps the family very busy. LeeAnn has been able to draw on her personal experiences as parent to a child with special needs, as well as her own experience living with ADHD and Anxiety, to provide meaningful occupational therapy services to the families that she has worked with over the years. When she is not on the soccer field with her family, LeeAnn enjoys music, reading, crafting, gardening, and spending time with the family’s pets: Daisy & Teddy (2 dachshunds); Cocoa (their guinea pig); and Twinkle & Fluffernutter (the family hamsters).
